Licensed Industrial Hygienist Field Technician

1. Field Testing & Data Collection

Conduct comprehensive Work Environment Measurement (WEM) assessments at various client sites, including testing for air quality, noise levels, illumination, heat stress, and ventilation.

Operate, calibrate, and perform basic maintenance on a variety of industrial hygiene monitoring and sampling equipment.

Collect, handle, and transport environmental samples to accredited laboratories following strict chain-of-custody protocols and standard methodologies (e.g., NIOSH, OSHA, DOLE-OSHC).
Key Responsibilities

2. Analysis & Reporting

Analyze field data, laboratory results, and site observations to evaluate occupational exposure limits and identify potential workplace hazards.

Draft detailed, accurate, and timely technical reports outlining findings, methodologies, and actionable recommendations for hazard mitigation.

Maintain meticulous records of all field notes, sampling data, and equipment calibration logs in accordance with ISO standards and company procedures.

3. Client Relations & Safety Compliance

Act as the on-site technical representative for Workwise, communicating effectively with client safety officers, facility managers, and employees.

Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance regarding occupational health and environmental safety.

Strictly adhere to all site-specific safety protocols, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Job Qualifications

Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience in industrial hygiene, occupational health, or environmental field monitoring.

Licensure: Must hold a valid license/certification as an Industrial Hygienist or be a DOLE-OSHC Accredited WEM Practitioner.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related scientific field.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in operating WEM equipment and analyzing occupational exposure data.

Communication: Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex health and safety data to non-technical clients.

Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently to various client sites (fieldwork constitutes a significant portion of this role). Valid driver’s license is highly preferred.

Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in physically demanding environments.
Employment Details
Hours per Week: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (subject to adjustment based on specific field assignments and travel requirements)
